Giles Parsons
Trainee Solicitor
Giles is a trainee solicitor with Browne Jacobson at its
Nottingham office. He joined the firm in 2007 and is currently
based in the firm’s property development team.
Giles' role involves assisting in the sale and purchase of
commercial property sites for developers and commercial clients and
drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and
leases.
Prior to this, Giles gained experience in the firm's corporate
and social care and education teams, advising the owners, managers
and funders of companies in relation to a range of corporate
transactions. As well as assisting in banking transactions, Giles
co-ordinated the due diligence process and provided support in
transactions such as management buyouts, acquisitions and
takeovers.
In addition, Giles has assisted in providing legal
services to local authorities relating to institutional abuse and
professional negligence and on education matters, advising
clients on transitions in school status and matters related to
Special Educational Needs.
Away from work, Giles enjoys socialising with his friends as
well as plotting the future of his fantasy football team.
